My name is Warwick Kay. I work as a Web / Graphic Designer. I have been in this field for over 6 years now.

I found my passion while studying at T.A.F.E Armidale NSW (which is where I grew up), from there my passion blossomed into a Diploma in Digital Media, and a certificate 4 in Web site design. These courses included subjects on Hand coded Web Design and using Dreamweaver, CSS, Photoshop, Flash, 3d Animation, and many more subjects.

From there I started work at Petals Network, initially I started working as a Web Master and then moved into the Position of Web Site manager, in this roll I was in charge of the design of all Petals web sites and the responsibility of advertising the sites, increasing hits and sales. Through this roll, I have worked on Search Engine Optimization, Paid Advertising, PPC Advertising, Affiliate Programs, Exit rate & Landing page analysis, shopping cart abandonment rates, competitive analysis to increase the hits and sales of the range of Petals web sites.

I finished up at Petals on the 28th of Feb 2007, at this time I also moved to Brisbane to further my career and life by living in Brisbane!

For my first 3 months in Brisbane I worked as a Software Support Technician for Tower Systems, a company that creates software for Newsagents, Hairdressers, Gift Shops and more. While the Tower Systems job was an adequate job, it just did not suit me as it had nothing to do with Web and/or Graphic Design.

In May 2007 I was offered the Job as Web site Administrator at John Deere Limited. This job was for a 5 month contact and entailed the control of deere.com.au and their Dealer Web sites. Through this job I worked on Flash animations for their deere.com.au site, coordinate new product releases from all departments of John Deere, coordinate new product releases from all departments of John Deere, liaise with John Deere managers from different departments to meet their needs on deere.com.au.
